رئيس جامعة بنها يشهد ختام فعاليات البطولة الثانية للروبوتات ويكرم الفائزين
"الجيزاوي": حريصون علي تحقيق رؤية مصر للتنمية المستدامة وبناء اقتصاد قائم على المعرفة والتكنولوجيا
شهد الدكتور ناصر الجيزاوي رئيس جامعة بنها، ختام فعاليات بطولة جامعة بنها الثانية للروبوتات والذي نظمتها الجامعة على مدار يومين بمشاركة 30 فريقا طلابيا يمثلون أكثر من 10 جامعات مصرية.
جاء ذلك بحضور الدكتور معوض الخولي رئيس جامعة المنصورة الجديدة، والدكتور تامر سمير رئيس جامعة بنها الأهلية، والدكتورة جيهان عبد الهادي نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون الدراسات العليا والبحوث، والدكتور طه عاشور نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة، واللواء الدكتور أحمد خيري مساعد مدير الأكاديمية العسكرية المصرية، والدكتور هشام فاروق مستشار وزير الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات للتحول الرقمي، وعدد من عمداء الكليات والقيادات الأكاديمية والإدارية، وممثلي الشركات الراعية.
وخلال كلمته أكد الدكتور ناصر الجيزاوي، أن الاستثمار الحقيقي يكمن في العقول القادرة على صناعة المستقبل وتطويع التكنولوجيا لخدمة الإنسان والتنمية ، وأن جامعة بنها تؤمن بأن دورها لا يقتصر على التعليم التقليدي، بل يمتد إلى بناء بيئة محفزة للإبداع والابتكار وريادة الأعمال، وتعزيز التعاون بين الجامعة والصناعة والمجتمع، بما ينعكس إيجاباً على تحقيق رؤية مصر للتنمية المستدامة وبناء اقتصاد قائم على المعرفة والتكنولوجيا.
وأضاف رئيس الجامعة، إن تكنولوجيا الروبوتات لم تعد مجرد مجال بحثي أو تطبيقات صناعية محدودة، بل أصبحت ركناً أساسياً من ركائز الثورة الصناعية الرابعة والخامسة، ومحركاً رئيسياً للتنمية الاقتصادية والتقدم التكنولوجي ، ومع التطور المتسارع في تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء وتحليل البيانات الضخمة، فالمؤسسات والصناعات المختلفة أصبحت بحاجة متزايدة إلى مهندسي الروبوتات، ومطوري البرمجيات، ومتخصصي الذكاء الاصطناعي، ومهندسي التحكم والأتمتة، وخبراء تحليل البيانات والأنظمة الذكية ، لذا تأتي أهمية إعداد طلابنا وتأهيلهم بالمهارات الحديثة والمعارف التطبيقية التي تؤهلهم للمنافسة في أسواق العمل المحلية والإقليمية والعالمية.
وأشاد "الجيزاوي" بجميع الفرق المشاركة التي أظهرت مستوى علمياً متميزاً وروحاً رياضية راقية، قائلا أن الفائز الحقيقي في هذه البطولة هو كل من سعى للتعلم والابتكار واكتساب الخبرة، موجها الشكر إلى الجامعات والمؤسسات التعليمية التي حرصت على دعم طلابها وتشجيعهم على خوض هذه التجربة العلمية الفريدة.
كما وجه رئيس الجامعة الشكر، إلي الشركات الراعية للبطولة، التي تؤمن بأهمية الشراكة بين التعليم والصناعة، وتسهم بدور فعال في دعم الابتكار وريادة الأعمال ونقل الخبرات إلى الأجيال الجديدة، والشكر إلى مركز إبداع مصر الرقمية على دعمه المتميز وجهوده في رعاية المواهب التكنولوجية وإتاحة الفرص التدريبية والمعرفية التي تسهم في إعداد كوادر قادرة على قيادة التحول الرقمي وصناعة المستقبل.
من جانبه قال الدكتور محمد طه وكيل كلية الحاسبات والذكاء الاصطناعي ومنسق البطولة، أن تنظيم البطولة للمرة الثانية تستهدف تشجيع الطلاب على تطوير حلول وتطبيقات تكنولوجية مبتكرة تخدم المجتمع وتواكب احتياجات المستقبل.
وفى نهاية الاحتفال قام الدكتور ناصر الجيزاوى رئيس الجامعة والحاضرين بتكريم الفرق الفائزة فى بطولة جامعة بنها الثانية للروبوتات.

President of Benha University Attends the Closing of the Second Robotics Championship and Honors the Winners
“El-Gizawy”: We Are Keen to Achieve Egypt’s Vision for Sustainable Development and Build a Knowledge- and Technology-Based Economy
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, attended the closing of the Second Benha University Robotics Championship, which the university organized over two days with the participation of 30 student teams representing more than 10 Egyptian universities.
This took place in the presence of prof. Moawad El-Khouly, President of New Mansoura University; prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University; prof. Gehan Abdel Hadi, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Major General Dr. Ahmed Khairy, Assistant Director of the Egyptian Military Academy; prof. Hisham Farouk, Advisor to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Digital Transformation; as well as a number of faculty deans, academic and administrative leaders, and representatives of the sponsoring companies.
In his address, prof. Nasser El-Gizawy affirmed that true investment lies in minds capable of shaping the future and harnessing technology to serve humanity and development. He stressed that Benha University believes its role is not limited to traditional education, but extends to building an environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and to strengthening cooperation between the university, industry, and society—positively contributing to the realization of Egypt’s Vision for Sustainable Development and the building of a knowledge- and technology-based economy.
The University President added that robotics technology is no longer merely a research field or limited industrial applications; it has become a fundamental pillar of the Fourth and Fifth Industrial Revolutions and a primary driver of economic development and technological progress. With the rapid advances in artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and big data analytics, institutions and various industries increasingly need robotics engineers, software developers, artificial intelligence specialists, control and automation engineers, and experts in data analysis and smart systems. This underscores the importance of preparing and equipping our students with modern skills and applied knowledge that enable them to compete in local, regional, and global job markets.
El-Gizawy praised all the participating teams for demonstrating a distinguished scientific level and a fine sporting spirit, stating that the real winner in this championship is everyone who sought to learn, innovate, and gain experience. He extended his thanks to the universities and educational institutions that supported their students and encouraged them to undertake this unique scientific experience.
The University President also expressed his gratitude to the championship’s sponsoring companies, which believe in the importance of partnership between education and industry and play an effective role in supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, and transferring expertise to new generations, as well as to Egypt’s Digital Creativity Center for its outstanding support and efforts in nurturing technological talents and providing training and knowledge opportunities that help prepare cadres capable of leading digital transformation and shaping the future.
Prof. Mohamed Taha, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence and Championship Coordinator, stated that organizing the championship for the second time aims to encourage students to develop innovative technological solutions and applications that serve society and keep pace with future needs.
At the end of the ceremony, prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of the University, together with the attendees, honored the winning teams in the Second Benha University Robotics Championship.
